The Armenian national team shuts out Iran

In their fourth game of the Ice Hockey World Championship, the Armenian national team defeated Iran with a commanding 8–0 victory.

Artem Kuznetsov and Sergey Khudyakov each scored twice, while Maksim Kuznetsov, Valentin Kovalenko, Tigran Manukyan, and Arsen Asatryan also found the net.

Goaltender Artem Putulyan started the game and stopped all 12 shots he faced in 40 minutes of play. Dmitry Mazanko took over in the third period and turned away 9 shots to preserve the shutout.

The Armenian national team will play its final game of the tournament against Indonesia on April 19. The match is scheduled to begin at 17:00.
